Meals are delivered Monday through Friday, weather permitting, by a dedicated network of volunteers. Clients are assigned to a specific route, which are based on their address, and each day, volunteers deliver one of 38 routes.

All our meals are prepared fresh daily by Odessa Regional Medical Center. Our menus are prepared by a registered dietitian and formulated to meet the 1/3rd recommended daily nutritional values as set by the US Food & Drug Administration. In addition to a protein and two sides, clients receive additional dry sides and a dessert. We also provide milk with every meal.

Three times a week clients receive breakfast items with their meals and throughout the week we deliver shelf-stable items, like canned vegetables, tuna fish, and peanut butter, which clients can use as supplemental meals over the weekend when we do not deliver. On Friday, if a client has requested, we deliver a loaf of bread.

The meals, milk and bread, supplemental shelf-stable food, and any extras our clients receive are all provided at no cost to the clients. We can offer these services because of several programs funded by the State of Texas. We also fundraise throughout the year and host our annual event, Mudbug.
